How do I upgrade to TabGroup Vault Pro?
Visit our pricing page and choose the 7-day Pro trial or the direct $39 lifetime purchase. After checkout, you'll receive a license key by email to activate in Settings.
Does TabGroup Vault work with Brave or Edge?
Yes! TabGroup Vault works with any Chromium-based browser including Google Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge, and Vivaldi. Just install it from the Chrome Web Store.
What happens if Chrome crashes?
TabGroup Vault stores independent Group backups locally on your device, so you can restore your Tab Groups even after unexpected browser crashes or updates.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All Group backups are stored locally on your device by default. If you enable cloud backup (Pro feature), your data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption.
Can I try Pro features before buying?
Yes. The card-required Pro trial costs $0 today and unlocks every feature for 7 days. Unless you cancel in Settings, it converts to one $39 lifetime payment when the trial ends.
How does the free trial work?
Add a card securely through Stripe and pay $0 today. You receive full Pro access for 7 days. Cancel in the extension Settings before the trial ends to avoid the one-time $39 charge.
What is the refund policy?
Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Cancel your trial in Settings before day 7 to avoid the $39 charge. For billing errors, contact us at hello@tabgroupvault.com.
How many devices can I use with Pro?
Your Pro license can be activated on up to 5 Chrome profiles across any number of devices. This includes different computers or multiple Chrome profiles on the same machine.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free includes 10 Group backups, one Window or Session capture, and restore or export of anything you already own. Pro adds further Window and Session captures, unlimited Group backups, Drive backup, dark themes, and priority support with 24-hour response time.
